ANNENBERG--Leonore. It is with deep sorrow that the American Academy of Arts and Sciences mourns the passing of our distinguished member, Leonore Annenberg. At the Academy, she generously supported programs on democratic institutions and fellowships for younger scholars. For the nation, she nurtured countless institutions so they may continue to inform, challenge, and inspire the American spirit. We honor her visionary work and her dedication to public service. Emilio Bizzi, President Louis Cabot, Chair of the Academy Trust and Vice President Leslie Berlowitz, Chief Executive Officer
