BRAHAM--Marquise Alexander. The Penn State University, Altoona, freshman who was pursuing undergraduate studies in bio-medical engineering, tragically passed away on Friday, March 14. Helping people is a character trait Marquise exhibited throughout his short life. He was always in service to others. He volunteered at Kellenberg Memorial High School in Uniondale, NY, where he was on the honor roll, assisting elementary school children with their class lessons and homework. He also volunteered at Sensational Kids in Queens, NY, the Parker Jewish Geriatric Institute, Winthrop University Hospital and Ronald McDonald House. Marquise's love of God was literally born in the stars. He made his world debut on Easter Sunday 1995 in New Hyde Park, NY. He leaves behind his parents, Richard and Marie-Yves Braham, younger siblings Selene and Sebastien, a grandfather, Maurice, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Wake is Friday, March 28 2-5p and 7-9pm at Park Funeral Chapel, Garden City Park. Funeral Mass is 10am, Saturday, March 29 at Our Lady of the Snows Church in Floral Park, Queens.
