PAKLEDINAZ--Martin. The Metropolitan Opera mourns the death of the distinguished costume designer Martin Pakledinaz. At the Met he designed costumes for new productions of Lucia di Lammermoor, Rodelinda, Iphigenie en Tauride, and the Met and Juilliard co-production of The Bartered Bride. The company will miss not only his talents but his warm collaborative spirit. We extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends. Peter Gelb, General Manager James Levine, Music Director
