SOLOMON--Max, died July 13, 2013 in Delray Beach, Florida. Max was born October 13, 1917 in The Bronx, New York. He served his country during World War II in the South West Pacific from 1941 to 1945. On returning home, he attended night school to earn BA and LLB degrees from New York University. He spent his entire working life at the Greater New York Insurance Company, retiring at age 85. He always and often spoke about everyone with whom he worked at GNY as his second family. He married Doris Miriam Klein in 1946 and they were happily married until her death in 2003. He was beloved by his three children, Steven, the late Susan Rita Solomon and the late Cindy Beth Solomon. He is survived by his son Steven, his daughter-in-law Bess, his grandsons Matthew and David and granddaughter-in-law Amanda, and his great-granddaughter Lilah. Interment will be at Beth El Cemetery in Westwood, New Jersey.
