ZILENZIGER--Rodman J., 85, former longtime resident of Scarsdale, New York and Vero Beach, Florida died on February 2, 2014. Born October 10, 1928 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, his family settled in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania. Mr. Zilenziger was also a graduate of Pennsylvania Military College (PMC) as well as having served as a 1st Lieutenant in the Korean War in the 2nd infantry regiment and received the Bronze Star. Mr. Zilenziger was the founder and past president of Rodman Publishing Corporation, a business-to-business trade magazine publishing corporation located in Ramsey, NJ. Mr. Zilenziger married Roxane Shugart Zilenziger who passed away in 2010. They were married for 53 years. They held memberships in the Fox Meadow Tennis Club of Scarsdale, New York, the Shenorock Shore Club of Rye, New York, as well as The Moorings Club of Vero Beach, Florida where they enjoyed playing tennis, platform tennis, and golf. Mr. Zilenziger was also a member of the Hitchcock Presbyterian Church in Scarsdale, New York and was a volunteer fireman in Scarsdale for many years. Survived by his three children; Gaye Geiger (Scott), of New Canaan, CT., Susan Maier (Rich) of Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ, and Rodman Zilenziger Jr. (Jennifer) also of Ho-Ho-Kus, and eleven grandchildren: Daniel, Sarah, Caitlin, Taylor, Rodman, Lindsay, Kevin, James, Claire, Katherine, and Anna.
