FLAGG--Thomas Richardson, died on June 9, 2014 surrounded by family at his home in Redding, CT where he lived for 40 years. Born in 1936 to the late Irene Richardson and John H. Flagg, Tom grew up in Oradell and Englewood, NJ. He graduated from Deerfield Academy, Princeton University, and received his Master's in Architecture from Columbia University. Tom served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy on the USS Hanson in the Pacific Fleet. He designed single family residences in the tri-state area and served in numerous volunteer roles in the communities he loved; Redding, CT and Point O'Woods, NY on Fire Island. He is survived by Terry Stratton, his loving wife of 50 years; his twin brother Dr. Stephen V. Flagg; his son Christopher S. Flagg of New York, NY; daughter Deborah Flagg Smith of Petaluma, CA; daughter Julia Flagg Leaver of Healdsburg, CA; and grandchildren, Emmeline, Conrad, Elliot, Calvin, and Ginger. A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 21st at 3pm at the First Church of Christ Congregational, Redding, CT.
