BREWER--Teresa, Songstress Teresa Brewer died October 17, 2007 at her home in New Rochelle after an eight year battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. She was 76 years old. In the hours before she passed, she was surrounded by her four daughters who joined in prayer for the peaceful death. She died as she lived, with dignity and faith. Your prayers are requested for the peaceful repose of her soul. Her legacy is the joy felt by the people who knew and loved her music. She is predeceased by her husbands, William Monahan and Robert Thiele. She is survived by her daughters: Kathleen Monahan-Granzen of Rye Brook, Susan M. Dorot of White Plains, Megan Ahearn of Port Chester and Michelle Monahan McCann of New Rochelle. She is also survived by her brother Henry Breuer of Toledo, Ohio, four grandsons and five great-grandchildren. Visiting on Friday, 24 and 7-9pm at The McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home, 491 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, 11am, Holy Name of Jesus in New Rochelle.
