Mr. John P. Anderson Lyndonville, NY

Mr. John P. Anderson, of Lyndonville, died on the Fourth of July, 2014 at his summer home on Lake Ontario.

John was employed by Monroe Electronics, Sigma and a partner in ASI. In 1986, John and Maureen purchased the former Taylor Bros. Furniture Co. on Elwood Avenue and established Antech Sales, Inc. Antech represented Watlow Electric Products Co. based in St. Louis, MO., as a distributor. Antech also produced customized electric panels for companies including Eastman Kodak, Fisher-Price and Corning Glass. He also owned and operated Anderson Greenhouse in the 1970's and enjoyed his farm on the Bates Road from 19732010.

In retirement, John wintered in Naples, FL where he was an active member of the Pipers Grove Condominium Association and enjoyed fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 55 years, Maureen.

Friends may call on Friday (4:00 to 7:00) at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 West Center St., Medina, where his service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery where military honors will be accorded by members of Butts-Clark Post #204, American Legion and Lincoln Post #1483, VFW.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to LeeWhedon Memorial Library, PAWS or Hospice of Orleans.
