Frank P. Cocozza, 89, died Jan. 5, 2013, at Calvary Hospital.
He was born July 28, 1923, to parents Gaetano and Nilla Cocozza, according to Westchester Funeral Home in Eastchester .
He was educated in Yonkers at St. Denis School and Charles E. Gorton High School. He attended Manhattan College and New York University School of Law. After serving as counsel to Title Guarantee Insurance Co., he opened his law office in Yonkers, the funeral home said. He practiced law in Yonkers for more than 55 years.
He was a member of The Yonkers Lawyers Association, the Westchester County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. He loved to travel, walk on beaches and eat out and was fond of movies and movie trivia, according to the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Emma; a daughter Susan; a son, Paul; a grandson, Mark; and a daughter-in-law, Jennie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Guy Cocozza; and a grandson, Paul.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Jan. 9 at Immaculate Conception Church in Tuckahoe.
