Jesse passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014 at The Chapel Grove Inn, Heath. He was born on a farm August 5, 1917 in Newark, Ohio to the late Raymond and Minnie (Gutridge) Woolard.

They were also named Senior Citizens of the Year for their contributions within Licking County. Jesse and his wife were inducted into the Central Ohio Senior Citizens Hall of Fame in 2005 for their outstanding contributions in Licking County.

(Sheila) McInturf of Oazark, Alabama; a step-daughter, Nancy Verber of Powell; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Woolard (2009) and first wife, Bonnie Woolard.
