Larry A. Keller, Sr.

NEWARK: A memorial service with Military Funeral Honors provided by the Licking County Veterans Alliance for Larry A. Keller, Sr., will be held at 6PM, Friday, June 28, 2013, at the Brucker&Kishler Funeral Home. Friends and family may call from 4-6PM, at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st Street in Newark.

Mr. Keller, 64, of Newark, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born March 31, 1949, in Hebron, a son of the late Chester and Olveta (Bugh) Keller. Mr. Keller served his country in the US Army, in Vietnam, where he received two Purple Heart medals. For 43 years he worked at PCA Corp., in Newark. He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and was an avid carpenter, always crafting something out of wood or working on his home.

Surviving are wife, Iva Harper-Keller; his children, Angie (David Petrey) Stiltner of Newark, Larry (Amy) Keller, Jr. of Newark, Paul Keller of Newark, Jessie (Terry) White of Groveport; his step-children, Tim (Mary) Harper of Newark, Randy (Shari) Harper of Strasburg, Mistie (Jaime) Hull of Newark; brothers Neal (Sally) Keller of Harbor Hills, Nelson (Mary) Keller of Hebron; his former wife Beth Keller of Newark; 18 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, including his little man Ivan Armes and his beloved dog, "Buster".

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-son Shane Vermillion and a grandson Bryan Harper.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Administration or Hospice of Central Ohio.
