Christine Held Wallace, 83, went to be with the Lord on December 10, 2013. This precious and beloved lady was the epitome of loving homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Extraordinarily bright and talented, she enjoyed reading, antiquing, cooking, and innumerable crafts and community activities. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of over 63 years Hiram "Wally" E. Wallace. They married December 30, 1949 while attending Purdue University. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Hiram "Wally" E. Wallace; her brother Robert V. Held and wife Peg; her son Daniel S. Wallace and wife June; her son Richard A. Wallace; four grandchildren, Michelle Wallace McCabe (Kelly), Dr. Julia Wallace Harris (Dr. Eric), Melissa Wallace, and Benjamin Wallace.; she also leaves seven great grandchildren, Ashley, K.J., and Kieran McCabe, and Charlotte, Susanna, Elizabeth, and Katherine Harris.
