David E. Hedrick, 84, of South Daytona passed away on April 17, 2014. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:00 A.M. The family will receive friends for a gathering one hour prior. Burial will immediately follow at Daytona Memorial Park with military honors. David was born on June 16, 1929, in Petersburg, West Virginia to the late Anna Crites and John M. Hedrick. David proudly served in the United States Navy where he met his bride of almost 60 years. He graduated from Western New England College in 1962 with a Bachelor's Degree and moved to this area from Massachusetts in 1967. David retired as bank president of Central Bank in South Daytona. He enjoyed spending time with his family and running on the beach. David was a member of Civitan and the Rotary Club where received the Paul Harris Fellowship award. Survivors include his loving wife, Marjorie E. Hedrick; children: Cindy (Tony) Brooks, Jim (Tammy) Hedrick, John (Denise) Hedrick; siblings: Keith (Diane) Hedrick, Junella (Buck) Sigler; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and many extended family members.
