. EJ spent her early years in Toledo and met her future husband, Milton Alexander Cunningham, "MAC" in the 4th grade. She married that childhood boyfriend after World War II on December 29, 1945. She and Milton started their family in Oak Harbor, Ohio while he worked at Erie Army Base. When the opportunity arose to move to Florida and work at NASA, Milton moved the family south. Elinor blossomed in the warmth of the sun, loving to work in her yard, go to the beach, play tennis and ride bikes around the neighborhood. She was a member of Eastern Stars, Daughters of the American Revolution (Ormond chapter), University of Toledo Alumni, Ormond Beach Women's Club, Museum of Arts and Science of Daytona Beach, and Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church. For over 30 years, she was also a Realtor, mostly with Adams Cameron in Ormond Beach, and was an avid tennis player with the Volusia County tennis leagues at Oceanside Country Club and the Ormond Beach Racquet Club. Elinor is survived by her husband of over 67 years, Milton; daughters Susan Cunningham (Ormond Beach) and Sally Cunningham (Palm Coast); sons Craig Cunningham and his wife Sandra (Flagler Beach) and Lance Cunningham and his wife Christi (Knoxville); as well as six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
