Franklin J. Beredyn, age 81, of Edgewater, died Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia / Flagler, Edge-water Care Center. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Mr.
Beredyn came to this area in 1994 from Lindenhurst, Long Island, New York. Mr. Beredyn served in the U.S. Navy assigned to the USS Fulton in New London Connecticut. A retired tile setter with Local Union 88, he was active in the Hacienda Social Community and enjoyed bowling. Survivors include, a daughter, Ann Marie Venezia of Palm Bay; son, Edward of Edgewater; three granddaughters, Linda Moore, Lisa Rodriquez, and Laura Cole, four great grandchildren, Giovanti and Gavin Rodriguez, Evan and Miranda Moore, all of Palm Bay. Preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Marie; and son James Patrick Beredyn. Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 25 at the All Faiths Mausoleum of Sea Pines Memorial Gardens in Edgewater, with the Reverend Francis Nelson C.Ss.R., officiating.
