Hubert David (Dave) Arrington, 87, born February 3, 1925 in Rocky Mount, Virginia, entered into rest on October 22, 2012 in Daytona Beach. He was a World War II, United States Marine Corps Veteran who proudly served in the Pacific Region, was honorably discharged in 1947, returned to service in Nagasaki, Japan and honorably discharged in 1953. He was a guard at Dahlgren Testing in Dahlgren, Virginia, then drove a new car carrier for 34 years. He was preceeded in death by his six brothers and three sisters. He was a resident of Hanover, Maryland for 28 years, then retired to Colonial Beach, Virginia in 1986, before moving to Ormond Beach, Florida in 1998. He is survived by his wife, Pearl, (Rowley); son Tim Arrington of Ormond Beach; daughters, Sharon Fox of Collierville, Tennessee, Sandy Grabowski (Dave) of Elkridge, Maryland, Donna Isom (Stu) of Ormond Beach; and son, David Arrington, Sr. of Deale, Maryland. He also leaves ten grandchildren, Chrissy Whipps, John Baker, III, Ariel Keen, Jessica Isom, David Arrington, Jr., Andy Isom, Matt Baker, Landon Fox, Allison Isom, Kristy Arrington; and six great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Smith, Corbin Lowry-Baker, Tanner Keen, Ethan Baker, Tori Arrington and Ainsley Keen. A Memorial service will be celebrated at a later date in Maryland.
