Henry A. Martin, fondly know as Coach Hank passed way October 1, 2013. He was born December 12, 1930 in Patterson, NJ to the late Henry and Mabel Martin and raised in Lincoln Park, NJ. He worked for Jersey Central Power and Light, retiring as a line foreman. Henry and his wife Merilyn moved to the Ormond Beach from Towaco, NJ in 1990. Henry proudly served his country during the Korean War in the Marines. He was a member of the Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church, NRA, Freemasons, Halifax Cruise Club, Towaco Hunting Club and raised hunting dogs. Hank coached girls fast pitch softball at Seabreeze and Ormond Rec. Henry is survived by his wife Merilyn, devoted nephew Roy Longo, Ormond Beach, FL, sisters-in-law Carol Beatty, Wayne, NJ, Joyce Fedell, Ormond Beach, FL, Gloria Hinderlong, Wayne, NJ, and Bonnie Longo, Ormond Beach, FL, cousin William Cameron, Tarpon Springs, FL, seven additional nieces and nephews, extended family and countless friends. A memorial service will be held 3:00PM Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.volusiamemorialfunerals.com.
