Jack Vinciquerra, 88, formerly of Bergenfield, NJ, passed away February 27, 2013. Jack retired from the furniture industry. He was an avid bowler and a lifetime member of the VFW in New Jersey. Jack proudly served his country during World War II in the Navy and was awarded the Purple Heart. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Felicia; daughter Patricia (Marty) Penisch; son Michael Vinciquerra; granddaughter Heather Penisch; grandson Christian Vinciquerra; and sister Josephine Horvath. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Suzie Vinciquerra, sisters Anna Piper and Mary Gallo, and brothers Michael Vinciquerra and John Vinciquerra. A funeral service will be held 2:00PM, Sunday March 3, at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 N. Nova Rd., Ormond Beach, FL. Visitation will be held from 2:00PM until 4:00PM and 7:00PM until 9:00PM Saturday, March 2 at the funeral home. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.volusiamemorialfunerals.com. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Ormond Beach, FL.
