James Emery Huston Jr. was born in Caribou, Maine on July 7, 1924 to James E. Huston Sr. and Katherine Huston. He lived in Maine until World War II and he then was in the Air Force for the remainder of the war as a pilot. He then joined his family in Sterling, Massachusetts and was in business with his brother and father in a large grocery and variety store, Huston and Sons. He met the love of his life, Mary Relli and they were married on Sept. 20, 1947. He then lived in Syracuse, New York and worked for General Motors until his retirement. He and Mary traveled extensively as Mary's health would allow. Jim was a 2nd generation Mason and Shriner. He was active in civic matters. He serves on the Home Owner board in Plantation Bay where he lived until his death. He is survived by his sister Katherine Shirley of Bend, Oregon. He also is survived by several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife Mary, his parents James Sr. and Katherine Huston and his brother Donald Huston. He loved children and sponsored several children to the Shriners Children Hospital. He never forgot St. Jude's Hospital for children. James will be laid to rest beside his beloved Mary in Syracuse, New York. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
