He was born April 8, 1924 in Miami, FL, son of the late James Wilbur and Emma Lane (Robertson) McCollum. Bob was a World War II veteran, serving as a communications specialist in the U.S. Army in England, France, Germany and Austria. Bob is survived by his brother Don McCollum, Pensacola; daughters, Casey L. Brown (Craig), Daytona Beach, Erin E. Singer (Brian), Jupiter; and grandchildren, Canyon, Ciara and Ella. Bob will be remembered as a peaceful, spirited, friendly, generous and humble gentleman, loyal brother, engaged father, and loving grandfather. No services are planned. Memorial donations can be made to Emory L. Bennett Veteran's Nursing Home, 1920 Mason Ave. Daytona Beach, FL 32117.
