In loving memory of John Henry Haigh Jr. He was born December 16, 1940 in Daytona Beach, FL and passed away May 12, 2013 at the age of 72 in his home in Ormond Beach, FL in the presence of his wife and two sons. He was a licensed Funeral Director for over 50 years, and former co-owner of Haigh-Black Funeral Home. He is survived by his loving wife Gina Haigh, and three children; Timothy A. Haigh and wife (Christina), Maryland; Todd A Haigh, Ormond Beach; and Beth Sowers and husband (Michael) of Lake Mary. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; Katherine Franklin, Victoria Haigh, Morgan Haigh, Ethan Jones, Benjamin Haigh, Addison Sowers, and Abigail Sowers. He was also survived by sister, Joanne Haigh Black and her children. He was the past president of the Daytona Beach JayCees and also a former member of the Lion's Club of Daytona Beach. His favorite pastimes were Disney World with his grandchildren, helping with the Florida Activity Directors Association, world travel, and working in the garden. The trip to Egypt in 2011 was the highlight of his travels. He had a great love for animals, that include his two cats Einny and Taz, and his German shepherd named Joy. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. today (Wednesday) May 15, 2013 at Haigh-Black Funeral Home, 167 Vining Court, Ormond Beach. His family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
