Mass of Christian burial, celebrating the life of John Francis Ford Sr, of Palm Coast who passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, will be on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church at 10:30 A.M. The Family will be receiving guests today (Friday, January 3, 2014) from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a wake service at 7:00 P.M. in the chapel at Clymer Funeral Home. John was born in New York, New York and moved to this area in 1990 from Ridgefield Park, NJ. He was a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. John served his Country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and worked for the New York City Transit Authority before retiring. He was a long standing member and past Vice President, Treasurer and Board Member of the Flagler County Sports Fishing Club as well as a member of the Ancient Fishing Club and the Elks Club. John is survived by his wife Joan, son John F. Ford Jr and his wife Eileen of Cary, NC., grandsons John Ford III and Michael J. Ford., sister- in-law Ruth White - Stuart of Summerfield, FL. Donations may be made in John's Name to: Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675. The family of Mr. Ford entrusted the arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations
