Joseph A. "Joe" Losch, 76, New Smyrna Beach, a sales manager for Sears in the Orlando area for 43 years before his retirement, died Monday, February 3, 2014. Joe, who served in the U.S. Coast Guard, was born in Sewickley, PA and moved to the area in 2000 from Winter Springs. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Smyrna Beach and was a coach for Sacred Heart Catholic School basketball team. He enjoyed fishing, reading, playing golf and working crossword puzzles. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Cathy; one son, Joseph A. Jr. (Tracy) of Orlando; three daughters, Christina Marie (Karl) Hacken-brack of Nashville, TN, Linda Ann Tomarelli of New Smyrna Beach and Patricia Ann (Rob) Sullivan of Winter Park; two brothers, Albert of Gainesville and Ron (Barbara) of Lakeland, and nine grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 AM Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Smyrna Beach. Cremation will be by Dudley Crematory, New Smyrna Beach. Cremains burial will be at a later date in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. Memorial donations may be made to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, Southeast Care Center, 4140 S. Ridgewood Ave., Edgewater, FL 32132 or Sacred Heart School, 1003 Turnbull St., New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168.
