Mark S. DeMaster, 50, passed away on August 22, 2013. A native of Jacksonville, Mark was a U.S. Army veteran and retired as a Sergeant for the DeLand Police Department after 20 years. He will probably be best remembered for the years he spent as a motor cycle officer in DeLand. When he wasn't working Mark enjoyed spending time with his family, golf, fishing, softball, and watching football. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved son, Justin DeMaster; brothers, Craig (Helen) DeMaster, Scott (Dorsey) DeMaster; and his sister Jann (Chip) Kishbaugh; and his former wife Teresa DeMaster. The family will celebrate his life with a memorial service on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 6:00 pm at the Lankford Funeral Home Chapel. Memorials may be made in Mark's name to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, You are invited to share your memories with the family at
