A memorial service for Nancy Fletcher Pearson, 67, of Palm Coast will be celebrated on Sunday, October 13, 2013, 12:30PM at Trinity Presbyterian Church. Nancy passed peacefully to be with our Lord surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at home. She was born on September 12, 1946 in Camden, NJ to Nathan and Margaret Fletcher (Foulon). Nancy earned two Masters in Education and Reading. She taught 4th and 5th graders in Washington Depot, CT. She was a passionate, very hard working teacher for the young minds she was molding. In 2004 she moved to Hammock Beach in the Palm Coast area from New Milford, CT. Nancy was an honorary member of the Rotary Club of Flagler Beach where she was very recently honored with receiving a Paul Harris Fellow. She was a devout woman enjoying her bible studies and served as a Deacon at Trinity Presbyterian Church. Nancy enjoyed playing bridge, golf, reading, traveling the world, taking walks on the beach and finding sea glass. She was passionate about saving the sea turtles and cheering on Duke basketball. But her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her beloved family. She will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Nancy will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 45 years, Robert "Bob"; daughters, Kimberlee and her husband Stewart Van Horn of Marietta, GA, Courtney and her husband Douglas Warner of Marvin, NC; grandchildren, Pearson and Taylor Van Horn, Nathan and Brooklyn Warner. Donations in her memory may be made to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, The , Florida Hospital Flagler Foundation/Breast Cancer Foundation, Trinity Presbyterian Church/Deacons or Volusia/Flagler Turtle Patrol.
