Patti was born on July 5, 1949 in Bethesda, Maryland to Jean and Ernest Gill. She passed on from this earth on July 23rd in DeLand, FL. Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Michael. She is survived by her husband, John Murray of DeLand, a brother, Greg Gill of Cottonwood, AZ, two daughters, Bridgette Tamlin and Melissa Easley of Cocoa, a step daughter, Amy Adair of Satillo, Mississippi, and seven grandchildren. Patti pursued multiple careers including that of a hairdresser, real estate agent, Cocoa Beach police officer and retired from Kennedy Space Center as a security officer. During her retirement she enjoyed her passion of antiques and collectibles. A Celebration of Patti's life will be held August 16, from 11:30am-3:30pm at the Grant-Bly House, 842 E. New York, in DeLand. All friends are all invited. Family graveside services will be at Oakdale cemetery in DeLand at a later date. Memorials may be made in Patti's name to Florida Hospital, DeLand, Intensive Care Unit.
