Paul A. Graffeo, Sr., 73, of Spruce Creek Fly In, passed away peacefully and surrounded by the love of his family at his home, on February 15, 2014. A visitation for family and friends will take place Thursday, February 20 from 5:00 pm- 7:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange. A Celebration of Life for Paul will be held Friday, February 21 at 10:00am, also at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange. Paul will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL with full military honors.
Paul was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He was a Vietnam Veteran and served proudly as a Captain in the United States Air Force. After being honorably discharged from the military, Paul found his passion for flying suited him well in his next career as a pilot for United Airlines from which he retired as a Captain. Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Linda K. Graffeo; devoted daughter and sons, Catherine, Paul, Jr., Michael Keenan, and Matthew Keenan; loving grandchildren, Danielle, Sarah, Kristen, Kimmie, Alec, Andrew, Claire, Owen and last but not least…Reese. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Paul's name to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler.
