It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Frankie announces his passing on November 17, 2013 at the age of 75. Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and then his community as a Lynbrook, NY Police Officer until his retirement in 1985. Always a hard worker & not one to sit still Bob then utilized his skills as a fraud investigator while remaining a loyal & active member of the Elks Club. Bob then retired in 2002, at which time they moved to their paradise in Daytona Beach Shores Florida. He leaves behind a family as large as his personality. Loretta his love of 52 yrs., son Robert, daughter Laura, son-in-law Steve & two grandchildren he adored, Steven & LeeAnne as well as siblings, Jackie, Raymond, Kenny, Tommy, Jimmy, Arlene, Joann, Patty, Peggy and Helen. Continuing with family there are 30 nieces & nephews and an abundance of great-nieces & nephews all over the country. Bob met many along the way & especially enjoyed his poker buddies Jim & Tom. There will be a Memorial Celebration on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Cardwell Funeral Home, 3571 South Ridgewood Ave, Port Orange, FL 32129. The celebration will continue at the Royal Atlantic Condo, 3743 S. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach Shores. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in honor of Bob be made to , 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or visit www.stjude.org
