Robert P. Elwell, age 82, was born November 11th, 1930 in Warren, Ohio, to Roy and Sadie Elwell. He died on November 10th, 2013. He was a resident in Warren, Ohio for 43 years. He was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School in Warren, Ohio. While living in Warren, Ohio he served 16 years in the United States Naval Reserve. He was a 60 plus year member of the Old Erie #3 Masonic Lodge (1952). He was a 50 plus year member of Moring Light Chapter #80, Order of Eastern Star Past Patron (1963). He was active in The First Methodist Church, church usher, radio remote broadcaster, Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 2, President of the Warren G. Harding Band Parents. Robert worked at Packard Electric Division of General Motors as a Tool and Die Maker for 23 years before being transferred to their new plant in Clinton, MS. While working in Mississippi he received General Motors Gold Service Award for Community Service. He was president of the Society of Plastic Engineers of Mississippi, a 10 years volunteer of the Crossgate Fire Department, serving as Fire Marshal and Arson Investigator, Ra.
