Teresa Lynn Deffenbaugh Featherstone entered The Lord's courts with praise onJuly 3, 2013 at the age of 53. There was a Celebration Memorial Service on Friday, July 5, 2013, at Palm Coast Bible Church in Palm Coast, FL. Teresa fulfilled scripture of the Proverbial Woman and personified the love of God to everyone. She was predeceased by her husband of 17 years, Donald Scott Featherstone. She is the precious daughter of Jerry Deffenbaugh and Agnes Hasentufel. She is survived by her four devoted children Jeremy Reddish, Sean Featherstone, Elizabeth Featherstone, and Alicia Featherstone; and two grandchildren Dylan and Kylie Reddish. She was predeceased by her brother Jerry Buddy (Ellen) Deffenbaugh, and is survived by her three sisters Susie (Mike) Sullivan, Donna Kay, and Sandra (Mike) Porter; and her sister-in-law Carol Featherstone. She has many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews who all adored their Aunt Teresa. Teresa is finally pain free after 12 years of battling breast cancer, which is a miracle itself because she was given 2-5 years when originally diagnosed. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and was a true warrior of God. She will be greatly missed, but we take peace in knowing she is resting in the arms of Jesus. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Teen Challenge or to an account that has been set up at VyStar to help take care of Teresa's daughter, Elizabeth.
