Timothy Patrick Russell, 48, of Bunnell, died January 11, 2013. He was born to the late Lamar (Jake) Russell and Alice Russell, January 9, 1965, in Savannah, GA. Attended Flagler Palm Coast High School, and enlisted in the military in May 1982, he was in the airborne division where he served in Grenada and received the Purple Heart for his injuries in time of war. Tim was very patriotic and loved his country and enjoyed being a part of the military. He attended Daytona State College after leaving the military and was a volunteer Firefighter and EMT for many years throughout Flagler County. He married wife, Kathaleen Russell. Survived by his mother Alice Russell; brother Mark Russell; sisters Marcia and Teresa Russell; niece Tabitha; and nephew Michael; his mother-in-law Nannette Jacoby; and his four step children Tamara Bair, Martin Bacon, Samantha Stewart and Jessica Bacon; who totally adored him. He was father to his two grandchildren Bobby and Alison. He is also survived by his other grandchildren Jennifer Bair, Shelby Bacon, Dylan Bacon, Abigail Bacon, Kayden Ruiz and Konner Ruiz. A memorial service to honor Tim's life will be held at Russell Landing in West Bunnell on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 1:00PM. For online condolences go to: www.craigflaglerpalms.com.
