Thomas Hamer Brown, Sr. born in Columbia, South Carolina on 8/26/1946; loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, passed away on January 9, 2014. Known as Tom and 'Doc' to many, he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and married Nancy Moore of West Palm Beach in 1969. He went on to work in various capacities in the retail automobile business in sales and management, in West Palm Beach, FL, Honolulu, HI, and Daytona Beach, FL. He loved cars, spending time at the beach and with his grandsons. He is survived by brothers William Brown of Anderson S.C., and Robert S. Brown of Ft. Myers FL; Daughter Jordan Kathleen Maguran and grandsons Colton and Bode of Carbondale Colorado; son, Thomas Hamer Brown Jr. of Daytona Beach FL; daughter Elizabeth Anne Grimes, son-in-law Mac Grimes and grandsons, Easton and Curren of South Daytona, FL. A sunset memorial service will be held in his honor at the Ponce Inlet jetty at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, January 15th. We love you and will miss you daddy, and the boys will miss their papa. Rest in Peace.
