William F. Murdick, a resident of DeLand, FL was born on July 17, 1947. He passed away on February 6, 2013 at the age of 65. Bill was born in Albany, New York and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He received the Purple Heart while serving in Viet Nam. He was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Connie Murdick and siblings Judy and Richard Borell of West Albany where Bill had many close friends. He is survived by his children Michelle Gallagher, Orange City, FL, William Murdick, Jr, Saratoga Springs, NY, Kelly Murdick, Mooresville, NC and Joseph Murdick, Warrensburg, NY; and grandchildren Michael, Billy, Joseph and Julia. Interment will be held Monday, February 11, 2013 at 11:30 am at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave., Bushnell, FL.
