William "Bill" Lee Allgire Sr. of Palm Coast, FL was born on February 11, 1947, in Bowling Green, OH to the late Harold Allen Allgire and Mae Frances Allgire nee Holeman and passed away on January 13, 2013 in Palm Coast, FL at the age of 65 years. After returning form the Vietnam War, he raised his family and began his career in Fire Dispatching; many years later he retired from Camden County, NJ as a Fire Dispatcher. He was also a lifetime Firefighter in Oaklyn, NJ and rose to the the rank of Fire Chief. Bill had a love for fishing, he was an avid woodworker, and enjoyed bowling. He is survived by his wife Carol Allgire of Palm Coast, FL; two sons, Bill Allgire Jr of Palm Coast, FL and Brad Allgire and wife Michelle of Hanahan, SC; and his one and only special granddaughter, Paige Allgire of Hanahan, SC; four brothers Dave Allgire of Missouri, Bob Allgire of Colorado, Floyd Allgire of Michigan, and Tom of Arizona. Bill is preceded in death by his sister Bea Allgire. A service of remembrance will be held Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 12:00 pm at the Heritage Cremation Care Center, 7770 South US Highway 1, Bunnell, FL 32110. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service; cremation is to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Stuart F.
