William F. Dralle, 87, of Palm Coast passed away on August 24, 2014 at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House. Bill was born in Astoria, NY. He attended Newtown High School and graduated from New York University in 1949. Bill married his high school sweetheart and best friend Alice Rauschelbach on September 11, 1949 with whom he spent 65 happy years of marriage. Bill was employed by Cluett Peabody for 43 years. Upon retirement he was Director of Military Sales for the company. Bill & Alice moved to Palm Coast in 1989. Bill was very active in the golfing community, especially active in the men's club at Matanzas Woods. Bill was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church and was usher captain for many years. He was a member of the Palm Coast Elks Lodge and a former member of the Irish American Club. Bill & Alice enjoyed traveling & exploring the world. Learning and experiencing all the world has to offer. Bill is survived by his wife Alice; daughters Lynn Lane, Sue Dralle and Carol (Jay) Ward; four grandchildren; two great grandsons plus his many close friends. He will be missed by all. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 156 Florida Park Drive at 2 P.M. on Friday, August 29, 2014. Donations may be made in Bill's name to; Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, 150 Memorial Medical Parkway, Palm Coast, FL. 32164, who took such great care of Bill. The family of Mr. Dralle entrusted the arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations.
