William Graney- Beloved husband and father, William Graney, went home to be with The Lord at age 85. Bill was born and raised in Dobbs Ferry, New York, son of John and Emma Graney. After graduating Dobbs Ferry High School, he played minor league baseball, and in 1948, he served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He then attended Ithaca College, Itaca, New York, where he received a B.S. in Physical Education and Health. In his senior year, he was assigned to be the student back field coach of the Varsity football team. He was a member of the Varsity Club, Phi Epsilon Kappa and was elected to Who's Who's in American Colleges. He graduated cum laude from Itahaca College in 1957 and earned his M.A. from Columbia University in NYC. Bill joined the staff of Ardsley High School in Ardsley, New York where he taught physical education, coached baseball and was Atheletic Director. After retiring, Bill and his wife moved to Palm Coast, FL, where he played golf and traveled extensively. Bill was a member of the N.Y. Social Club and The American Legion. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Elizabeth Graney and their three children Erin Merlin (Rick) Loxahatachee, FL, William S. Graney (Meg) Levittown, PA, Kerry Ann Sanner (Jeff/Chris) Booneville, MS. Donations may be made in honor of William Graney to: Cornerstone Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162
