William J. (Bill) Richardson of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away on November 22, 2013, after a long battle with MDS, an early from form of leukemia. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Mona and four children, Nancy and husband Bob of Pittsburgh, PA., Jack and wife Stacey of Miami, Alan and wife Beth of New Jersey, and Glenn of Arizona. He is also survived by eight grandchildren. Originally from Queens, New York, Bill and Mona moved to Huntington, Long Island to start a family in the suburbs. He commuted daily to New York City and built a long and distinguished career with Frank B. Hall, as an Exective in the insurance industry. In 1992, he left New York, and has enjoyed 21 years of retirement in Palm Coast. Bill proudly served his country in Korea. He was a dedicated volunteer of the AARP Tax Program, helping many people throughout Flagler, St. Johns and Putnam Counties. He loved the game of golf and was a longtime member of Pine Lakes Country Club (FL) and Indian Hills Golf Club (NY). He belonged to the VFW, Elks Club and was a proud member of the Palm Coast Irish Social Club. Bill will be sadly missed as husband, father, grandfather and friend. Services will be Friday, November 29th, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Visitation begins at 10 a.m., followed by Mass at 11 a.m. The Richardson Family is extremely grateful for the outstanding care and compassion Bill received in his final days and hours at the Stuart F.
