John Herman Lieske, age 75, of Everton, MO, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 in his home. He was born January 19, 1938, in Marshfield, Wisc. to Herman and Ruth (Stang) Lieske. He was a lifelong farmer. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Ruth Lieske and one sister Christine Klemke.

He is survived by the love of his life for the last fifteen years, Linda Bryant of the home; six children, Dawn Bradley, Springfield, Jack Lieske and wife Kimberly, Springfield, Amy Wallis, Independence, Allen Lieske, Springfield, Angie Blakey and husband Mike and Venus Simmons and husband Tim, all of Springfield; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Carol Spaulding of the state of Wisconsin; and a host of family and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Greenlawn North Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Veteran's Hospital of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Cremation services have been entrusted to Greenlawn North Funeral Home, Springfield, MO.
