Robert Charles Jairett

Robert Charles Jairett was born on October 27, 1926 in Springfield MO to Harry D and Margaret (Luz) Jairett and died on August 16, 2013. Bob began his career at Missouri Rug Cleaners at the age of fifteen and continued there for the next 71 years. Bob graduated from Senior High in 1944 and served in the Navy during WWII.

On July 17, 1947 he married Betty L. Tettleton. Their union was blessed with three daughters. Bob was the best husband and Dad anyone could ask for. He will be sadly missed by his family and numerous friends.

Bob was a longtime square and round dancer. He loved to golf, fish, and play cards. Almost every day you would find him at Steak and Shake for his 10AM coffee break and then back for lunch at noon.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother and father and four brothers Art (Thelma) Jairett, Richard (Edna) Jairett, Harry (Louise) Jairett, Donald Jairett and a son in law Tom Turner.

Bob is survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty and his three daughters, Beverly (Rolland) Jones and their children Brian (Melana) Jones, Becky (Julian) Holldorf, and Robert Jones (Cindy), daughter Janet Turner and her children Kimberly Hurshman and Mark Monroe, daughter Donna (Kirk) Zellmer and their children Anne Zellmer and Catherine Zellmer.
