CHARLES H. FORESMAN II (78) died August 16, 2013, Naples, Florida. Born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1935, he was the only child of Charles H. Foresman (1895-1983) and Helen Hunt Foresman (1895-1981). He was graduated from George Washington, High School on Guam, Marianas Islands, in 1952. Concurrently, Dwight David Eisenhower was inaugurated as the 34th President of the United States; and H.R.H. the Princess Elizabeth succeeded her father. The late King George VI, as Queen of England and its Dominions.

Charlie earned a B.A. with Honors at the University of Virginia. He served as a platoon leader with the 3rd Armored Division of the U.S. Army between 1956 and 1958. He was an alumnus of Seabury-Western Theological Seminary, Evanston, IL. In 1963 he was awarded an M.A. by the State University of Iowa. He was a practicing clinical social worker for more than thirty years in mental health, developmental disabilities, and home health venues.

Charlie was married to the former Marilyn Joan Lyle at Grace Church, Cedar Rapids, IA in 1962; they divorced in 1984. Surviving children include Eric C. Foresman of Iowa City, IA; Ian C. Foresman of Fullerton, CA; Carrie E. Foresman of Los Angeles, CA; Sarah C. Baumberger of Bondurant, IA; Erin L. Kleeman of Davis, CA and seven grandchildren. He married the former Patricia Anderson Melson at Saint George's Chapel, Indian River Hundred, DE, in 1989. They have lived in Florida since the 1980's. Survivors include his widow; stepdaughters Patricia M. Nelson of Georgetown, DE; Laura M. Caswell of Moore, OK; and six step-grandchildren.

Those wishing to pay their respects to Charlie may do so at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 3901 Davis Blvd, Naples on Thursday August 22, 2013, from 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm. A requiem memorial service will begin at 1:00 pm followed by a reception at St. Paul's. All are invited to participate.
