Edward A. Kroencke

Edward A. Kroencke, beloved husband of Alice, passed away January 22, 2014, at the age of 95 years. A resident of Cape Coral for the past 30 years. Ed moved to Cape Coral with his wife Alice from Prairie Village, Kansas, where he was employed with the Atomic Engery Commission. He was a graduate of Ohio State University with a BA in Electrical Engineering and The University of Illiniois with a Masters in EE. Ed was born in Concordia, Missouri on November 16, 1918. He was a verteran of World War 11, serving in the Army Signal Corp in the South Pacific.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Alice, his children, Ward Kroencke (Naomi), John Kroencke, three grandchildren, Rachel, Noah, and William.
While residing in Cape Coral Ed belonged to the Faith Presbyterian Church, Engineering Club, Cape Coral Sailing Club, Historical Society, Fort Myers Computer Club and the Buccaneer Cruising Club.
Ed was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be sorely missed by those who loved him dearly.
