LOUISE S. CHESLOSKY

Louise Stewart Cheslosky, 90, of N. Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully on January 11, 2013.

She is survived by her loving husband Bernard (Ace) Cheslosky of 63 years and her six children, Linda Freedman (Mickey), Chuck Cheslosky, Betty Wisda (Bob), Laura Sobolewski (Michael Jack), Susy Hankins (Mark), and James Cheslosky (Cindy), 10 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

Louise was born July 1, 1922 in New Concord, Ohio to Roy and Florence Stewart. She graduated from Boston University and served her country in the Royal Canadian Air Force, and the US Navy Waves during WWII. She married Bernard in 1949 and settled in Rockville, Maryland where she was a devoted wife and mother.

Ace retired to N. Fort Myers in 1977 where she continued to work as a bookkeeper. She was very active in the American Legion Post 336 where she held 5 officer positions and served on 3 committees, and then eventually became Commander of Post 336. She also served with the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She volunteered much of her time to the Special Olympics in Maryland and Florida. She was a member of St Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

A service will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 at National Cremation & Burial, 3453 Hancock Bridge Pkwy., N. Fort Myers, FL 33903. Visitation will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a service following at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in memory of Louise S. Cheslosky to the Alvin A. Dubin Alzheimer's Resource Center.
