Floyd Nance Chandler, age 84 born in Nashville, Tenn Dec 10th, 1930 died April 17th. A memorial service will be held at Christ Church on April 26 at 1:00. He attended Vanderbilt University and served in the Air Force in the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Rebecca Patman Chandler, and two sons Randy and Kurt and his wife Sherry. Floyd was a lifelong enthusiastic sportsman. As an accomplished golfer he was All State in Tennessee when he was in high school. At 35 while living in Atlanta he became an avid tennis playerfor the rest of his life, holding rankings in the South in both singles and doubles with the late Larry McGee. Before and after retirement from Equifax he spent many years enjoying biking, skiing and fishing. His last years he faced the terrible disease, Alzheimer's with grace and stoicism and his wife would like to thank the caring staff at Elmcroft for their dedicated service.
