I was so sorry to hear the news of Jack's passing. He was such a beautiful and genuine person. I waited tables at the Bull & Bear for 10 years and Jack was one of my favorite patrons. He could make me laugh like no one else could and when HE laughed, it was just infectious. Jack was quick with a hug, a compliment, or a sarcastic response...but only in fun. I haven't seen Jack in years but several months ago we were sitting beside each other at a stoplight and we blew a kiss to each other and waved.
I sincerely apologize that I couldn't attend his service. I really wanted to be there but couldn't. You were very lucky to have such a wonderful man in your life. Thank you for sharing him with the rest of us.
May God watch over you and comfort you in your time of grief.

I would like to express my condolences to your family. I knew him from the Bull and the Bear. Jack was such a kind and funny man, who reminded me very much of my own father, who passed away from cancer in December. It saddens me that I found out too late to pay my respects, but please know that Jack and his family were in our prayers. I will remember him fondly.

Jack was Travis and Cameron's Grandpa Jack and we are their other Grandparents. We are so lucky that Jack came into our lives and we were allowed the priviledge of being with him at family gatherings. He was a great guy and we would have enjoyed being with him more but the miles kept us from doing that. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family at this time.

Jack will be a constant positive influence on me as time goes on. When first meeting Jack in 2000 , he shared ways with me to cope with the loss of a family member. I will be forever grateful for that and the many years of insight, humor, and shared love of the sport of horseracing and many other of his varied interests. He shared his pride of and love of his children and grandchildren always. His patriotic actions and ideas are the fiber of America's strength. I admire his kindness and substantial effort to share with others. God bless all of the family and everyone grieving his loss.
