Joyce was an avid reader and always up for a game of scrabble. She loved gardening, cats and researching genealogy of family and friends. She was an anglophile, loving Brit-coms, the monarchy, Jane Austen, James Herriot, Colin Firth etc. Joyce loved growing up in CT and raising her girls there. She loved beach vacations at Misquamicut RI, Rehoboth DE, or Ocean City MD, and she had a wonderful time living in Arizona! She loved folk music, classic rock, classical, opera, and more. Joyce's kids and grandkids always brag that she went to Woodstock! Joyce was also a humanitarian supporting The Elephant Sanctuary, VFW, Disabled Vets, Alzheimer's Research and The Ellis Island Foundation. She will be remembered with love by her children and close friends; her grandchildren, Kate, Elizabeth, Chrissy, Frankie, and Robbie, and great grandchildren, Melissa, Michelle, Mathew and Garet, will all dearly miss their "Mimi".
