WOODSIDE - Annamarie Hoffstadt passed away Monday Dec. 3, 2012 at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. Mrs. Hoffstadt was born Oct. 13, 1926 in East Stroudsburg, Pa. to the late Noble Salathe and Claribel Moshier Salathe. She worked in the Cafeteria for Caesar Rodney School District for 15 years retiring in 1990. Mrs. Hoffstadt enjoyed the beach, reading, knitting, bird watching and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene R. Hoffstadt in 1999. She is survived by her son, Steve Hoffstadt and his wife Cindy of Camden; daughter, Gina Wilson and her husband David of Woodside; sister Mary R. Snyder of South Lake Tahoe, Calif.; her five beloved grandchildren, Chris and Amanda Wilson of Woodside, Erik, Jennifer and Megan Hoffstadt of Camden; niece and nephew, Marybeth Hartshorn of Concord, Calif. and Bernie Snyder of El Dorado Hills, Calif. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday Dec. 8, 2012 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery located in Bear, Del. at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to USO of Delaware, 500 Purple Heart Way, DAFB, Dover, Delaware 19902 or Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
