Davis, Jr., 54 DOVER - Peter 'Bo-Bo' Davis, Jr. departed this life on Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Bayhealth Medical Center Kent General Hospital in Dover. Born in Salisbury, Md., he was the oldest son of Peter Davis, Sr. and Alveta Davis of Eden, Md. "Bo-Bo," as he was affectionately known, received his early education in the public school system of Wicomico County. He furthered his education at Delaware State University where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. He served in the Army National Guard for eight years as a Communications Specialist. "Bo-Bo" worked in the Department of Corrections for 10 years. He was currently employed as a Security Officer at Resort Investigations and Patrol in Fenwick Island. He was a member of New Life Family Worship Center in Camden. Peter was baptized by Elder Thornton Pitts of the Community Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Seaford. In 1994, Peter was united in holy matrimony to Jeanette Conquest. From this union, Peter and Jeanette were blessed with two sons. In addition to his parents, those left to cherish the many loving memories of his life are his wife of 19 years, Jeanette Davis; two sons, Peter Davis III and Jairus Davis; seven brothers; eight sisters; three brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law; a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other in-laws, and friends. Mr. Davis will lie in repose on Saturday, May 11, 2013, from 10 to 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church located on 528 Booth Street and Delaware Avenue in Salisbury, Md. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Dr. Bill Roberts will officiate. Interment will be in Green Acres Memorial Park, Inc. located on West Road in Salisbury, Md.
