DOVER - William Stewart "Bud" Cravens of Dover passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 88. Mr. Cravens was born February 9, 1925 in New York City, New York to the late William S. Cravens Sr. and Nancy Cotton Cravens. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. Mr. Cravens was owner of Kent Signs in Dover. He was a life member of the Camden Wyoming Moose Lodge and a member of the Wild Quail Country Club and Past President of Camden Wyoming Rotary Club. Mr. Cravens enjoyed golf, watching old westerns, and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two stepsons, James and Patrick McCalister. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Leona Cravens of Dover; daughters, Leigh Cravens of Somerset, Ohio, Jamie Melvin and her husband Glen of Hartly, Holly Yadacus and her husband Tom of Dover, Jill Cravens and her husband Jack Olenick of Dover, Candice Albertson and her husband Kirk of Wyoming, Laurie Rosenbaum and her husband Kenny of Englewood, Colo. and Jennifer Wooleyhand and her husband Tom of Hartly; stepsons, Riley McCalister and his fiancée Lisa Rossi of Dover, Byron McCalister and his wife Rosemarie of Marydel, Dale McCalister of Dover; stepdaughter, Kimberly Diehl and her husband Jack of Dover; sister, Dee Meeks and her husband Ken of Islamorada, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren; and his faithful beloved and loyal dog, Peanuts. The memories of a man such as this are filled with adventure…but most of all, with love. Funeral services will be 4 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E.
