CAMBRIDGE - Harold Eugene Mauk, Sr., died on Thursday, March 6, at his Baltimore residence. A veteran of the Korean conflict, he was born in Altoona, Pa. on Oct. 17, 1930. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Anna Mary Mauk; children, Harold 'Gene' Mauk, Jr., and wife, Linda, of Baltimore, Margaret Mauk and friend, Marshall Foreman, of Chesapeake, Va., Martha Kral and husband, Mike, of East New Market, Judith Mauk, of Easton and Eric Mauk of Baltimore and Cambridge; grandchildren, Thomas 'Tee' Wheeler, Jesse Wheeler, Josie Mauk Holotik, and partner, Brandon Shostak, Robert 'Lee' Mauk Holotik , Pete Kral and partner, Rebekah Hardy and Emma Kral and friend, Tommy Copenhaver; great-grandchildren, Annalise Shostak and Joseph Clark Kral and special friends, Jerry and Judy Van Curen; He was preceded in death by his son, David John Mauk.
