HURLOCK, Md. - Ray Anthony Greene Sr., died Dec. 1, 2010, at Howard County General Hospital. He was 50. He was born in Easton, Md., on Aug. 16, 1960, to Joseph Adams and Janet Dotson. Ray graduated from NDHS in 1978. He served in the United States Army from 1979 until 1987. He was employed as a Business Agent/ Organizer for Teamsters Local #355, since 1997. Ray was a member of Ross's Chapel A M E Church, Preston Circuit Male Chorus, Prospect Lodge #95 and Teamsters National Black Caucus. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bryant Greene; and grandparents, William and Gladys Greene Sr., and Roland and Mageline Adams. He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Shareen Camper-Greene; parents, Joseph and Barbara Adams, Roscoe and Janet Dotson; children, Jawaan Dodson, Ray Jr., Javele, Rafael, Tiffany, Leah and Leilah Greene; special nephew, Jeremy Greene; sisters, Tina (Daniel) Dotson, Victoria Griffin, Paula (Damaina) Dotson, Edwina Dotson, JoLynn (Ricky) Stanley, Yvette (James) Stanley, Debbie Adams and Martha (Robert) Hamilton; brother, Arron Adams; five aunts, four uncles, two great-aunts, two great-uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at Union United Methodist Church, Federalsburg, Md. Viewing will be Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church. Burial will be Monday, 11 a.m. at Eastern Shore Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Hurlock, Md. Arrangements are being handled by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Hurlock, Md.
